Definition of Ragging:

Ragging includes any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student.

It involves any act that prevents, disrupts, or disturbs the regular academic activity of a fellow student.

Prohibition of Ragging:

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of Baba Farid College of Nursing, including its affiliated institutions, hostels, buses, and any other place associated with the college.

No person shall participate in or abet the ragging of students in any form.

Punitive Measures:

Any student found guilty of ragging, whether actively participating or abetting, shall be liable for strict disciplinary action.

Punitive measures may include suspension, expulsion, and legal action as per the severity of the offense.

The college reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student found guilty of ragging.

Reporting Mechanism:

Students are encouraged to report any incidents of ragging to the designated authorities promptly.

Complaints can be made confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the complainant.

Awareness and Orientation:

Freshers' orientation programs include sessions on the college's anti-ragging policy, emphasizing the importance of fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.

Support Mechanisms:
